The Well Balanced Vacation

Sep-7-2018 By admin

The annual vacation can be an amazing adventure, but it takes a certain amount of planning to make sure it is as stress free as possible. You need to balance activities with leasure time, make sure everyone gets plenty of rest, and that no one goes hungry.

Balanced Activities

You don’t want your vacation to be boring any more than you want it to be so overwhelming that you come home more tired than when you left. Set aside one day in the middle of your vacation to relax. Spend this day sitting on the beach or hanging out at your resort. A day of rest doesn’t mean you can’t do a more laid back activity like playing a round of palm springs golf. Just make sure that whatever you choose is restful.

Plenty of Rest

Remaining well rested begins with a good night’s sleep. Choose lodging that promises comfortable beds. Check online reviews before booking. Once you have chosen a resort, request a room in a more out of the way location to avoid the noise from other guests. In addition to sleep, take a break each afternoon to go back to your hotel for a nap or swim in the pool.

Feed Your Hunger

Many hotels now offer a complimentary breakfast where you can find enough food to at least get your day started. Stop for a light lunch later on, and schedule enough time in your itinerary to take a snack break when ever you begin feeling like you need a pick-me-up. Carry crackers, granola bars, and other light snacks with you in a backpack. Then you can enjoy an early dinner to avoid crowds.

By taking the time to plan the activities, rest, and meals you will need while on vacation, you will be able to create a get-away that everyone will enjoy. Remember that moderation is the key to success. Balance energetic activities with down time to keep your entire group refreshed and entertained.
